Major Arcana Study of the #Tarot – COMPLETE!

This is my last week studying the Major Arcana. I finished up the cards, working with the Star through the World. I use the same methods as before, spending a short time meditating on the card each day, entering its environment and interacting with its key figures to gain a personal lesson from them. In each case, it helped deepen my understanding of the card for divinatory purposes as well. I touched on these experiences in brief here, in their individual Instagram posts.

XVII – The Star
XVIII – The Moon
XIX – The Sun
XX – Judgement
XXI – The World

Once again, the card for last week was the Hermit. It seems to be hunting me this month, indicating a period of turning inward and seclusion— and during the Christmas holidays no less! Still, despite all the hustle and bustle of family and festivity, the Hermit made sense. In the midst of all the hubbub, I’ve made sure to take time to center myself with a Tarot card draw and a few pages of journaling each day. What I’ll be working on magickally and spiritually in the new year has been very much on my mind, and I’ve been using my spare time to get my schedule in order. All very solitary tasks, it’s true.

Next week sees a shift, however, with the Emperor stepping into the limelight. The counterpart to the Empress, the Emperor represents masculinity, authority, and discipline. I predict next week will feature setting routines again, getting back to the workaday world after having been a week plus on holidays. Indeed, I have to buckle down and start my next piece of fiction, among other things. And what are all those things? I’m still trying to figure that all out!

In the meantime, now that I finished my work on the Major Arcana, I have come to the end of the six-month long project, and only have to fill out some paperwork to complete it. Go me! And go you! May you have an amazing New Year’s Eve and a fantastic 2019.
