I changed my normal morning routine today, speaking from the heart rather than using the prayer I’ve memorized. I asked each of the Nine to help me with my activities today and then made my offering. The deerskin chord takes blood very well. I haven’t used it as a pendulum yet but hope to do so after the 12th when my schedule calms down a little.

At first, I read this as “faith delivers advice/wisdom,” but reconsidered. In some versions of the Lenormand, the Lily can also refer to sex. I’ve been reading about Asmodeus for two days now, the daemon of lust. Could it be the Nine are commenting, “faith delivers passion?”
As with yesterday’s Bear card, the Lily can mean one’s grandfather. However, both of my grandfathers died years ago. I don’t have anyone like that in my life right now either. My grandmother figure never made an appearance yesterday, but my partner did shell out for school supplies and learned he has several interviews coming up—both of which mean effort going towards institutions and authority. My intuition about the cards were right.
