Spread For Personal Development

I do my readings in the morning so advice from the divine can light my way.

I decided to get to my Month of Spreads work as soon as I could this morning. Why not get a little guidance early in the day, rather than when it’s too late to do anything with it? After shuffling my Lenormand deck, I cut up into three piles and turned over the top card on each. As per today’s prompt, I asked the cards:

Month of Spreads Day 3 – My Personal Development

How can he develop more self acceptance? The Bouquet – Gifts, rewards – reward myself, reward myself for my accomplishments.

How can I develop more clarity? The Gentleman – This is a speaking card and typically represents the querent or their male love interest – indicates I should speak to my partner more, or perhaps listen to my own intuition more carefully.

How can I develop more abundance income? The Ways – Crossroads, decisions, choices – give myself options, don’t let myself be hedged in to any one way of making money. I decided to be very specific about the wording of this question as abundance can mean many things.

Daily Death Daemonic card for meditation/reflection – Hecate – again, just as there can be Kemetic and even Norse Daemonolaters, there can be those dedicated to the Greek pantheon as well. While Hecate is known for helping practitioners strengthen all sorts of magical abilities, she can be a particular aid to new necromancers wanting to improve their techniques. This goddess is said to have three aspects, one of which is Hecate Lucifera, the torchbearer. This immediately brought to mind one of my favourite songs, “Rain of Brass etals” from Silent Hill. While not about Hecate in particular, it certainly calls up the creepy vibe often associated with the Halloween season. It’s definitely about a three “headed” spirit, anyway.

Today felt far less like Halloween than yesterday, however. The air is much warmer and the sun is shining brightly. Still, every gust of wind sends leaves swirling around the statue on my balcony. The pale-faced angel reminds me of Baalberith, the Prince of Dying, another face of the Death Daemonic.
